About Us
Our Mission What is Take Care Utah?
Take Care Utah is a program of Utah Health Policy Project that helps Utahns access health insurance coverage and navigate the health care system.
We believe every Utahn should have dependable, consistent access to quality, affordable health care. Our role is to reduce barriers by providing free, hands-on assistance with Medicaid, CHIP, Marketplace coverage, renewals, health insurance literacy, and connections to care.
Our team provides:
Application assistance in multiple languages for Medicaid, CHIP, and Marketplace plans
Case management throughout the eligibility process
Guidance for selecting health plans
Education to help people understand and use their benefits
Ongoing support with renewals and reviews
Linkage to health-related social needs resources
Direct Support for UtahnsStatewide reach
Take Care Utah serves individuals and families across Utah through phone support, virtual appointments, community events, partner sites, and direct outreach.
